I have a client of mine who is needing some data entry completed. (I have about 6000 records to go and a few weeks to get it done. Would anyone be interested?

The basics are: you get a .25 per record you enter from an excel spreadsheet onto a web form.

I send an initial 100 records out, and then you can request more spreadsheets after that. Each time you complete a spreadsheet, you get paid via paypal.

Anyone interested? Email me at athenewolfe@yahoo.com for more details.

Cheers!

Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year to all my friends!

I am happy to announce I am not dead, despite rumors... (yes I am being silly).

I had some computer issues with an old and dying laptop, which sadly has all my old programs on it, and had to wait two weeks for my new computer to arrive. A shiny brand new Mac!

Which of course, means I have to replace all my old pc software with mac software... I forgot about that! I should have a new copy of dreamweaver down in the next day or two - which means I can update Fang Fetish. Rae has been wonderful and kept all the noms up to date from our inbox and gotten everything organized for us, so as soon as my software is down I can proceed.

I have been in Germany for the last ten days (the day after my new computer arrived) and been on a research trip. I have to type up the trip for my advisor,so I will post it here as soon as I am done.

I miss everyone terribly, but one day this hectic time will be behind me and I will emerge from RL, PH.D in hand.

Hugs to everyone. I will slowly be getting back to emails, holiday cards, and friends soon. However, I might not be able to catch up on back LJ's considering I was offline almost a month. Let me know links and stuff of anything vital or important!

HUGS YOU ALL

I have deleted about 10 people off of my flist. I will probably delete another 10 to 15 people as well over the next two weeks. I am only deleting people who rarely comment or who have moved into other fandoms I have little interest of. HOWEVER, if I deleted you and you DO want to be on my list, drop me a line and I will add you back.

The reason I am deleting is because I want to be able to comment on people's lj's more. So if I can get the number of entries I am looking at down then I can comment more. (As opposed to never commenting because by the time I have read all the lj entries I am out of time on my break)

HUGS

Quiz
Which Goddess lurks in your soul?

Athena

You are a wise one, my dear! Athena is the Greek Goddess of wisdom, disciplined war, philosophy and knowledge. She is a selective Goddess, as she only inhabits those of your high intelligence and keenness to learn great things. You’re usually not seen without a book in your hand or your eyes glued to the internet (which is, after all, the great information highway!). This should not suggest that you don’t enjoy people, as your cleverness and sharp wit are usually in full force when in a social situation, to everyone’s delight.

Are there any HP crossover fans who could take over a beta job for me? The pairing is Willow/Snape and it is a FANTASTIC story which has already won several awards! I simply don't have time to do anything in the fandom at all *cries*

Please send me an email if you would be willing and we can chat more!

The Fang Fetish Awards are pleased to announce that round nine winners are available online. This was an amazing round, with some very tight races in the categories.

Thank you to everyone who participated as a nominator, writer, artist, judge or mod.

We haven't had time to email all the winners yet, (and probably won't for a few days at least) so please feel free to spread the word.

Thank you again everyone!

Did a small friends cut - mostly of people who I don't think ever read my lj are have moved on to other interests. Mainly to save myself a bit of time checking lj. (If anyone still on my list needs to cut me because of their rl I understand)

Judging has ended at Fang Fetish and the artists are making the awards. After that Buffy fandom in general will be on hiatus for me Until Nov 1, although I still intend to stay in touch via lj with all my friends. I will still be reading the occasionally fic and hopefully working on Pale Horse, but I will be cutting back the amount of time I read and write because the deadlines from now until Feb are intense.

Hope everyone and everything is doing well, I miss everyone so much!

Summary:
I see no man on a pale horse, yet Death rides for us all.

It was the apocalypse no one saw coming. Now, longtime enemies must become allies, friends become foes, and death really is waiting around every corner. A tale of death, sacrifice, more death, the human (and not so human) heart, even more death, black humor, and the end of the world as we know it.

A quick update: I made an awards post for Pale Horse here which holds our recent awards from "Forbidden Awards" (3), "Spuffy Awards" (1), "Spark and Burn Awards"(1) and "Rouge Poet Awards" (2), Fang Fetish Awards (1), "Serenity on the Hellmouth Awards" (1) and reposted the 2 we previously posted about "Feeling For Love"- Thank you to everyone who nominated, voted, judged, or moderators. Hugs you all very tight!http://community.livejournal.com/weyrathene/5258.html

Beyond thrilled and will be doing a non-Pale Horse award update later)

Now my question: For those of you following Pale Horse - how would you classify it?

The reason I am curious is because I am having trouble putting a label on it, but the label is important because that dictates where you post it.

We have called the fic Spuffy, we post it at Bloodshedverse and Elysian Fields, and at both places the story has received excellent reviews. In fact, several people have told me they love the story and have barely noticed the lack of Spuffy because the plot is so wonderful (does happy squeee).

Then of course as two of my awards pointed out

"It's listed as a Spuffy fic, but if you're looking for love and romance, you really will be aching for it. This story is all about plot, and a more original one I've rarely come across."

"Although Spike and Buffy are supposed to be the main pairing in this fic, in no way is it centered around these two characters. In fact there are many different character pairings and many original characters that bring so much to this tale. Andrew plays a major role that gives new depth to a smaller character from the series and you can't help but fall in love with him."

So perhaps the fic should be more likely classified as ensemble. But does that mean I can post it elsewhere? Where else?

The story centers around (so far) the following plot lines - Spike, Buffy, Dawn, Andrew, Angel, Cordy, Riley, Graham, Lindsey, Nina, and Willow. Not to mention the OC's...

There isn't a single character who has gotten more or less screen time, each of them have thier own plot line, and are important to the story. Granted: Spike and Buffy are the only characters we promised not to kill, although by ch 15 you have a better idea of some of the other survivors. And Spike/Buffy is the primary pairing.

So should I call this a Spuffy fic? Should it just be listed as ensemble? Can I list it as both?

Where else might be interested in posted it? We will have an entire story line for Willow and Xander (for [info]the_jossverse Since Willow is a huge part of the story, can I post this story at Willow archives? (Or Xander, Or Dawn, or Andrew - they are all as important to the fic as Spike and Buffy) Should I go do my homework and quit thinking of this... (probably lol)

Not terrible worried about this, because I don't have the time to post the story any where other then its current locations, and perhaps closer to the end of the story I will have a better thought.

But I was curious, especially since I have people who do not like Spuffy, actually telling me they love this story despite the fact that it is Spuffy. So very cool.

Now I should toodle off to go work, although this insane post is probably because I am lonely. Husband is out of town, haven;t seen a human being since Wednsday (other then hey look someone else is walking the dog), Rae, Tam and my co-writer are offline. Sigh... off to work... or look at the 200+ Buffy/LJ emails I should respond to.

Rambles out

The Jossverse will run to the end of August with the characters of Willow and Lindsey. I am thrilled about this because I have a few plot bunnies of my own - but I also want to encourage people to submit.

If you have been wanting to write a new Lindsey, Willow, or Lindsey/Willow fic - now is the perfect time.

Wery and I have been talking about a Willow piece from Pale Horse, also been thinking of an independent one-shot of Dawn/Lindsey, no plot bunnies yet lor Lindsey/Willow but perhaps one will strike!

Hope to see everyone there!
